How To Manually Add A Case When Patient Is Not Found
What to do if you are trying to manually add a case and it says ‘Patient Not Found’
Workaround
1. Click on the head icon.
2. Instead of selecting ‘Search’, carefully complete all pink fields below. Enter any number in the Encounter field. See steps below to find this out later. Click ‘Save Patient’ and begin your documentation in iPro.
Tip
As you may know, records with Missing Encounters cannot be finalized and records with Invalid Encounter numbers will not make it to Sunnycare. You may be able to find the patients encounter number at a later time.
1. Select head icon in top left corner
2. Select ‘Search’ button
3. Enter patients MRN & ‘Search’
4. Patient will come up listed. Take note of Encounter and then exit this page by selecting the back arrow in the top left corner of your screen. DO NOT SAVE PATIENT.
