How To Chart Trauma Note?

There are 3 iPads in the ER trauma bay

You can use those iPads for documentation in the Trauma Bay. Tap on Trauma Note tab to open up the trauma note page. Upon finishing the note, please make sure to check off the check box title ‘This is a Trauma Case’ and then click on ‘Send Trauma Record’ so that record will be sent out to Sunnycare as a trauma document. 

The title of the record will be displayed as “Trauma Bay Anesthesia Assessment & Intervention” in SunnyCare.

Hello everyone,

Just a reminder: when documenting a trauma case in iPro, please make sure to check the box labeled "This is a trauma case" and click "Send trauma record" (see screenshot below) BEFORE finalizing the case and signing off. This ensures that iPro generates the report with the appropriate title of a trauma report rather than an OR report.

If these steps are not followed, it will trigger an error in SunnyCare, and the trauma report will not show up.
