What To Do At The End of Day Light Saving Time?

We will continue to use iPro in and around the time change.

• Below are some tips about iPro that you may see during the time change.

• If you do encounter any issues with the application that impacts your documentation, please revert to downtime procedures (Paper documentation)

• If you are adding a case during that hour and you are not able to find the patient in the system, I’ve attached a cheat sheet for a workaround to manually add a patient to iPro. (see below)

Feature	Behavior
Chart Tab	The Chart will repeat the 1 am hour. Auto vitals and infusions will not overwrite themselves.
Date/Time Pickers Ex’s - Anesthesia Start/End Times - Providers Start/End Times - Manually entering Intra Op Labs - Adding a Signature - Etc.	You will NOT see a secondary option for 1am in date/time pickers.   *Add a note about Daylight Savings if you encounter any entries that might have a similar time stamp but are actually an hour apart.
Summary/Notes/Results	Any area that shows a summary of multiple results (Intra Op Labs) or a record of multiple events (Chart Event Notes) the order will auto populate in the chronological order that they were entered.
