Copying PAC Record into Main Module Intra Op Record

If the patient is coming from SDA, it is a part of the SDA workflow to copy the PAC record into the Main module. If they forget, please be very careful about copying after the fact. If they have made any contributions to the listed tabs, that information will be erased.

If the patient does not go through SDA, you are able to copy that PDF into your record. If you are not sure if the patient came from SDA, go to the Pre Op tab>Summary tab and scroll down to the SDA section to see if it has been completed and signed below.

Opening Record Too Soon

Please remember that SDA is documenting in iPro as well. When we take the records early, it changes the view for them downstairs. The SDA nurses have been instructed on what to do if someone has taken the case in the OR but if we can give them a little more time while they prep the patients that would be most appreciated.

Anesthesia Start Time Too Soon for Block Patients

If your patient is in the block area and you put in your anesthesia start time in the OR and connect to the monitor, this impacts the monitoring of the patient in the block area. You can open the record just wait until the patient comes to the OR before connecting.

Duplicate Records

When you search for your patient in the search field, check all buckets before manually adding a new record to avoid duplicate records are created.

TSRCC Brachytherapy

When you search for your patient you may find they are listed more than once in the Scheduled cases bucket. This is fine. Just choose 1 and document on that same patient record as you move from OR to MRI and back. You can update your Patient tab> Procedure section with all parts of procedure as needed.
